![]() ![]() ![]() Dexter had to fish it out of her because in her excitement she was busy listing out how amazing her news was. She couldn’t wait to share with him her best news. This book opened up to Roxy calling out to Dexter. My son is the same way so I encouraged him to fine tune his Dexter’s talents and focus on academics! It’ll definitely comfort many young readers who don’t have talents of singing and dancing. I liked Dexter’s talents because I felt exactly the same back when I was in school. ![]() I liked that this story wasn’t wordy so it able to hold the attention of little readers. She’s learning to recognize the letters from “talent show” because it’s in big bold purple. My 2 year old has been saying T-Rex these days and I think she remembered from me reading this book to her. We have since loved looking through the illustrations and naming out colors, learning letters, and things from each page like disco ball, roller skates, butterflies, bow tie, fountain, etc many nights before we go to sleep. ![]()
